HANS CLUGSTON, (Of Counsel): PERSONAL PROFILE

Hans Clugston has been happily married for more than ten years to a local physician. They have one school age child.

Hans and his wife have been active in local civic organizations such as Yavapai Big Brother/Big Sisters (of which Hans is a former board member) and the Prescott Free Clinic.

Continuing his long established interest in history and technology, Hans is a member of the British Horological Institute as well as the North American Sundial Society. He enjoys repairing mechanical watches as well as designing and building sundials.

Sharing a love of the outdoors along with most of the other Yavapai County residents, Hans and his family are beginning to think about training sled dog teams. With a couple of good natured and strong willed Samoyeds already, Hans’ wife has begun to acclimate the dogs to pulling in an organized manner. It will probably be just a matter of time before the family has put a team together and will begin training them in earnest.

Hans is a regular attendee at his daughter’s school activities. He likes to take his family fishing and canoeing. Recently, at the request of his daughter, he has been trying to learn how to build snow globes (round, transparent globes that one shakes to make the "snow" fall and which have wind-up music boxes in the bottom) to add to her collection.
